I really fell off the wagon and forgot to post these. My notes are very basic and minimal...
August 2023
Kwon Eunbi - The Flash
I'm in love with her.
DPR Ian - Peanut Butter and Tears
He continuesd to be weird and interesting.
The Boyz - Lip Gloss
Despite their token efforts to de-gay this by introducing a girl love interest, they are boys who are very interested in each other, in a summery location. Catchy! I like the album more than the MV per se.
StayC - Bubble
Earwormed by StayC, AGAIN? Yes.
Yerin - Bambambam
The song grew on me on music shows - the colours and the retro feel are good vibes.
Xikers - Homeboy
My fave Xikers track to date. The first one I've really been like yeah ok, give me more of this.
Cignature - Smooth Sailing
The MV is fine, but really both their minis this year simply knocked it out of the park. I adore every song on both.

She is just having so much fun this year, it's irresistible.
Rocket Punch - Boom
Saw quite a few mixed reactions and prepared myself for nothing special. But I LOVED this song??? So cute and so catchy.
mimiirose - Flirting
I really like the song! The looks in the mv are great! I don't understand the MV at all tbh.
DPR Ian - So I Danced
This was so fun. He's in his comic book super villain era! Very cartoony and over the top (positive).
Kep1er - Galileo
I love their outfits, the styling is really good, also, an art gallery!!!
Billlie - BYOB (Bring Your Own Best Friend)
Super, super cute. Kept recognising locations from Seoul, or at least ones that looked familiar.

ONF - Love Effect
A sparkly little song that sounds extremely ONF. Charming.
DPR Ian - Don't Go Insane
Very OTT - a Western, but make it horror? Follows on from the cartoony style of the previous one.
IVE - Off the Record
Gorgeous. Such a good mv. They're definitely all in love.
Just B - Medusa
Genuinely a fun song! Something something water is missing idk, but it's fun to look at.
Lightsum - Honey or Spice
Surprisingly fun. I ended up liking this way more than I expected.
Queenz Eye - This is Love
This is what kpop is about. It's just a performance mv but the song and the dance just is capital letters KPOP to me (positive).
Moon Jongup - X.O.X
He's such a good dancer and he looks great here, really confident and sexy.

Viviz - Maniac
They're delightful, and this is cool and fun. Shout out to the performance video for Untie too.
Red Velvet - Chill Kill
The song is so light for such a haunted house mv! I enjoyed the contrast and the ending of the mv is quite delightful.
The Boyz - Watch It
This is so good! They all look so great and the mv is really fun. There is a KITTY!!!!
&Team - War Cry
Starts out rough but gets pretty enjoyable. The mv is a lot of over the top nonsense which I enjoyed.
MCND - Odd-Venture
A bit of a country twang to the song, and lots of big scale 'exploring the frontiers' of land sea and space in the mv - this feels quite fun and a bit different to what else is out there right now!
One Pact - Must Be Nice (좋겠다)
I enjoyed the moody Chungking Express vibes... Portrait of a Lady on Fire vibes...

Yukika - I want to be closer to you
She is in a bakery au! Very cute retro styling as usual. This shows off her acting, she's really good at conveying personality and warmth through just a few looks. This is her final title song - I'm sad but at least she got to say goodbye before retiring.
Lucy - Boogie Man
Spooky cute!
Woodz - Amnesia
So 90s indie rock, it gave me flashbacks lol. I will miss him!
