Dec. 26th, 2024 10:02 pmI received some amazing kpop gifts in Yuletide this year:
The artist lovers of Neverland, Baby (Be Your Own King - The Boyz), heist lesbians of Magic and Maybes (Easy - WJSN The Black) and the beautiful flower girls of Wendy (Feel My Rhythm - Red Velvet) each stand alone but also fit together into a beautiful, layered puzzle. I really am so enamoured of this little overlapping group of stories!
And rose sent kiss is a lovely romantic Eric/Haknyeon Be Your Own King story that plays on Romeo + Juliet. 💕💕💕
Not kpop, but if you're into tennis: You Can't Win Them All is a riff on The Tour: A Reality Show skit and cracks me up with the image of a surly, unfriendly actor who plays Alcaraz (who hates Nadal! OMG!).
