I purchased 1 of 3 livestreams for this festival, tuning in for part 2 which included Leeboram (which I actually did not see due to timing), Soran, The Boyz, and HYNN x Park Jinjoo. Splitting the festival up into 3 separate streams seemed like price gouging to me but whatever, it also meant a smaller time commitment.
Soran was a chill band performance, one guy and his group. The atmosphere was very relaxed and picnic-y. He got enough cheers to come back for an encore.
Hynn x Park Jinjoo was surprising in that I knew Hynn a little from MVs but I didn't think I knew Park Jinjoo. Then as I kept watching, thinking she looked familiar… Indeed. She's the actress who played the best friend in My Private Life and she was also in Swing Kids, amongst other things! I really liked her in both of those so that was delightful.
I'm not sure why exactly they teamed up together for this set or who the third woman was who came to do a few numbers with them, but they put on a fun set with lots of duets and Hynn can really belt it.
The Boyz of course were the reason I tuned in. They were all in denim and looked great. Hyunjae had black hair again! It suited him so well. The stage was really tiny, which is especially accentuated when there's 10 people trying to do choreo on there (they were very squished at moments and some of the fansite photos/cams show them unable to form full line formations at some points), but they managed well. It was really good to see Reveal again and to see Timeless performed live for only the second time.
The ments were quite funny, asking them to play a balance game - for example, when trying to buy something online, do you hit refresh many times or wait patiently? If making a mistake in first 10 seconds of recording a stage, ask to restart or just keep going? If you mess up your hair with half an hour before meeting someone, do you re-do your hair or just put a hat on? (Sunwoo, irrepressible deliverer of fanservice, said put on a hat if it's a friend, re-do your hair if it's for deobi.)
The choreo mistake one was especially good because Chanhee said, "why would you make a mistake?" Younghoon immediately threw him under the bus by saying, "well, didn't you make a mistake at the Melon Music Awards pre-record?" and all the members just totally cracked up. Savage!
